Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She is Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the first moments in her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk featured in a number of commercials while she was young. The Bachelor in Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. When she got engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10th 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the third season finale episode was first conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its popularity on social media has earned it a large online following.
